Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"Absolutely incredible restaurant. Best meal we've had in all of Italy. I don't know why the rating for this place isn't higher. The food was absolutely amazing, the service was fantastic, and the prices were very good. The cheese chips appetizer might be the best thing I have ever eaten. I can highly recommend the cheese and potato heart shaped ravioli, as that was amazing as well. The tiramisu was the best tiramisu I've ever had. I don't normally get an appetizer, entree, and dessert. But you have to at this restaurant. The only fault I can think of was the pasta portion size was smaller than expected. They have an English menu available, but this place is not a tourist spot at all. We were the only non italian-speaking people in the whole restaurant, and there were locals already seated and eating only 30 minutes after opening when we arrived. Whether a local or a visitor, you absolutely must go to this restaurant if you can!"
"Outstanding, simply outstanding! The food is great quality, the service is more than welcoming and the atmosphere just amazing! Seriously, ignore the very few reviews here that say anything different. The waiters speak English and they're super friendly. They helped me tweak my meal to make it suitable for my dietary requirements and their food is seriously home made! Top quality, simply excellent. Please try it!"
"Fabulous food - we went off menu and had delicious fresh seafood all at very reasonable prices. We were looked after beautifully and had an impromptu grappa tasting where we were joined by our hosts."
"Pietro was the most welcoming and lovely host we could've had. Despite our Italian being bad his enthusiasm and charisma shone through. He was very attentive and helpful throughout our whole evening and made us feel very welcome. The mezze mainche alla amtriciana is the best pasta I've ever had."
"Lovely little local restaurant with a nice local menu and smiling staff. I am in Rome for a month and have been to this place several times and had consistently good food!"
"Absolutely fantastic restaurant. Everything we ordered was delicious! The service was exceptional- really the best I’ve ever experienced. They have gluten free options and even made my husband and I carbonara with zucchini instead of meat."
"That was another place I found on Google reviews,it's a authentic place and you can find varies menu here. They don't provide English menu but some stuffs speak English. My pasta was not the best but a creative dish. But I was in love with The appetizer, the salad and the dessert. They also have pizza which I saw many families they were having it, I am sure the pizza would be great choices, too."
"I loved everything about this restaurant! The food was good and the service was amazing. We got seated downstairs and the ambiance was very beautiful and cozy."
